Hedley Singer also known as Jacob Hoggard has pleaded to be not guilty of any sexual assault. This took place in the Ontario court during his trial in north-eastern.

Hoggard presented himself in a black dark suit and earlier this Monday entered a not guilty plea in this midst of his sexual assault trial. The jurors selected for the trial in Temiskaming Shores, Ontario consist of eight women and four men.

This is a community that is approximately over 150Km North East of Sudbury. Two alternate jurors were also selected both to be women.

Hedley singer is facing a charge on one account of sexual assault linking him to an alleged incident that took place in June 2016. The incident took place in a town nearby called Kirkland Lake.

He is elected to be tried by a jury at the end of the year in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. The trial will be continuing starting with opening arguments on Tuesday.
