Job Responsibilities

These are your job responsibilities working as a Bellperson in The Fairmont Royal York Hotel which will include:

  • Welcoming guests
  • Always stationed at the Lobby and ready to greet incoming guests.
  • Providing support and helping with luggages on both arrival and departure.
  • Have a good understanding of check in and check out procedures.
  • Be familiar with hotel hours.
  • Upon request, providing guests with information pertaining to hotel facilities, packages, newspapers and keys to guest rooms.
  • Storing luggages
  • Delivering parcels, keys, messages and packages if required.
  • Reporting in suspicious or unusual behaviour to the Guest Service Manager (GSM) and hotel security in order to maintain safety standards.
  • As outlined in the fire response manual of the hotel being aware of fire alarm duties.
