American actress Olivia Munn have welcomed second baby via surrogacy on September 14 2024.

According to Munn, “I had so many profound emotions about not being able to carry my daughter. When I first met our gestational surrogate we spoke mother to mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding; I knew I had found a real-life angel.’’
Munn also went on to express her gratitude towards the surrogate for ensuring the safety of their baby and helping them to have their dreams come true. She further stated how proud she is of her baby daughter and made the journey towards her. Olivia Munn was seen smitten on pictures revealed on her instagram with her new born baby daughter.
She has decided to name her Mei which means plum in Chinese. According to Chinese tradition it is called the year of the dragon and she considers it to be fortunate with the birth of her baby.

Munn and her partner also have a son named Malcom who is now three years old. However her journey during the past year has been an incredibly tough one. She had to undergo a double mastectomy when she was battling an aggressive breast cancer.
They were able to detect the disease early and save her life. A few ago on instagram she revealed that she again had a partial hysterectomy and oophorectomy (surgery to remove one or both ovaries). This made her unable to be a mom again and carry her child.
All this was taking place amidst her taking treatment to battle breast cancer to which she was consuming a drug named Arimidex back in August. During the beginning of this year, upon her being diagnosed with breast cancer, she had to freeze her eggs giving them to have another child.
