Yogurt Health Concerns in Canada to Rise

This Yogurt recalled Canada is taking place for the second time in a month. Manufacturer Danone Canada revealed their products may contain a type of yeast causing health concerns.

The 24 packed Costco’s Kirkland Signature Probiotic Yogurt serving 100 grams contains the issue. On 3rd September and 19th September the yogurt was bought to its Canadian warehouse. The possible effects its yeast as posted on retailer’s website.

The products that have already been affected best consumed prior to Oct. 18, Oct. 20 and Oct. 22. The manufacturer expressed that the food safety risk remains low. This is due to the fact that the yeast does not grow in refrigerated conditions.

In this case of Yogurt recalled Canada, the manufacturer has requested the public to return the product to a Costco warehouse. They will be issuing a full refund. For the second time in a month the Costco yogurt brand being recalled.

All around Canada the Greek yogurt offered by Costco recalled during early September. The reason was found to be mold in the yogurt. According to the Food Inspection Agency Canada, the products recalled distributed in many cities. They include, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan.
